This isn't an article but I had to post this today, February 14, 2012...

My Question...Why was the "AH" sound chosen for World Sound Healing Day?

WHY an "AH" sound?  My answer from others... because it's 'tradition'....FROM WHAT TRADITION??? Most of the 'traditions' that we still observe were started after the Age of Leo and align with the masculine/external focus of the Sun/Son. In simplest terms...All of the information my husband, John is receiving (and that we have been living for the last 25 years) aligns the "AH" vowel sound with the MENTAL energies of the Universal Fire Element...which are balanced with the "O" vowel of the Universal EARTH Energies...the "AH" frequency aligns with the last 13,000 years of our conscious evolution (the transition of Virgo into Leo) when the masculine energy realized that it could create and didn't need to rely on the feminine intuitive energy anymore... that's when our consciousness shifted from the internal feminine (moon) focus to the external masculine (sun) awareness because we needed the energy of the Sun to grow the seeds that we learned to plant in the Age of Virgo. Now, we are at the transition point between the Age of Pisces into Aquarius when the internal, feminine, intuitive EARTH energies are awakening within and transforming the masculine, objective, external MIND energies so BOTH energies come into balance...sooooo my specific question is WHY would we try to force the AH /mental energy onto the Earth????? It feels like another way the masculine energy (albeit unconsciously) is still trying to manipulate and control the intuitive feminine energy that is beginning to transition back into itself at this time.

A response from a friend when I posed the question...It is so very simple. AH is part of Om Ahhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm My teacher from India taught me this. Also in the third eye meditation it is always Ahhhhhhhhh sounded with the inhaled breath, and the mmmm on the exhale. It is always a long AH and short mmm. My response after watching the video: EXACTLY my point!!! Especially since his 'inspiration' was a "Divine Being" (which is the divinity within himself expressing) of a BULL Head on a Human Body...what a perfect manifestation of the energy of the Age of TAURUS (approx. 4,000 years ago) when our consciousness was expressing itself through our manifestations and evolving into the energy of the Age of ARIES, when our desires and passions moved us toward the domination and conquest of others. The man-bull image reflected the passion of Indra and its deities held sacred as The Creator and passion and sex became a predominate theme in their tantra beliefs of expressing and manifesting their desires as evidenced in the Temples of that time that were the Stupas (breasts) of the feminine encircled by the male passion to manifest their creations. Using the 2nd and 6th chakras to manifest your experience of manifesting reality is another way desire manifests illusion. That is futile without the heart connection turning desire into compassion and compassion into love. You can truly only accomplish the process of manifestation from love, not through the mind. (a sacred message from "O" to "A")

My conclusion... I honor and respect the traditions of our past and am grateful for their part in our conscious evolution as a species.  At this time, it is clear that the deep genetic cellular memory of our past is continuing to manifest our current experience of reality.  Our minds 'think' we know how this transition of consciousness is going to happen...because they are still protecting us from change out of fear.  We THINK we're FEELING!!  It's time to get below our minds.  If we 'think' we're doing it...we're not!  This isn't a time of 'la-la, happy thoughts'...it's truly a time of deep, deep, inner work!  Everyone is traveling their own path...my only hope is that it is truly THEIR path and not someone else's path they simply decided to follow!
