I see traces of my past

Patterns keep repeating

Beliefs keep holding fast

There are mirrors for me to see

Aspects of myself

Crying out to be free

What am I afraid of

What keeps holding me back

The answers are all around me

If I have the courage to ask

There is no fear in love…if only I could trust

To step into my life

Means other people would see me

Am I ready for their judgment

Can they handle what they see

For if I truly share myself

The beauty and my love for life
